HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MAKENNA!

Nine years ago today our lives changed. We were so excited to welcome a baby into our lives.

1 Samuel 1:27 ~ "For this child I prayed; and the LORD hath given me my petition which I asked of him:"

Little did we know at the time how drastically our lives would change! You have grown into a sweet young girl. You are your Daddy; although recently I have noticed you have freckles on your nose and cheeks like your Momma. Probably the only thing we have in common. We tease that you need to stop growing as you are tall like your father. I've come to grips with the fact that you will soon pass me up in height.

You are so smart and do very well in school. You love horses. You are silly like your Daddy. The thing you looked forward to most about today is that you could have "junk food"! You are growing up so fast. Your birthday list is more shoes than toys. I'm sure this is only the beginning.

Makenna, we love you and will always love you! We pray that you will continue to grow into a Godly, young lady that will be used by Him in a mighty way.
