Another "Picture Perfect" Photoshoot

Again we had opportunity to have some pictures taken of the kids . . . here are some of my favorites!

Isaiah & I arrived a little late after going to his 15-month check up. He came in 2 1/2" taller than his sisters at this age, weighing the same. We believe he is lactose-intolerant, and we are working on finding the severity of his intolerance. He is still on the brink of walking. Hopefully he starts walking soon as we have to report in at the 16th month mark.

Madi's pictures turned out beautifully . . . they even gave her the title of Princess! Towards the end she became a little uncooperative so we began to bribe her with stickers and a milkshake! We teased that she had high demands as a model!

Harvest Time

Today we took the kids to our annual church Harvest Fest at a local farm market. It was a beautiful day -- praise the Lord the rain stayed away, and we had an enjoyable time! We took a hayride, picked pumpkins, climbed on hay bales . . . I think Isaiah's favorite thing was watching the tractor as we rode on the hay ride. Madi loved picking her very own pumpkin. Makenna was all-time champ of the hay bales!

Madi was thrilled to be at the top, but she got a little anxious about getting back down ~ Pappy to the rescue!

Our Week

We went up to Nana & Pappy's house last Friday night. They graciously watched the kids while we enjoyed a nice dinner out. We decided to visit Rick's Great Aunt Margie in the nursing home on Saturday, and it was easiest to stay there overnight. (Little did we know we would be back Monday morning to wait out the power outage until Wednesday -- Thanks Mom & Dad for letting us crash or should I say trash your place!) The kids always have fun at Pappy & Nana's house.

Aunt Margie preferred not to be photographed, so I just took pictures of Rick & the kids. Please keep her in your prayers. There are indications that she may be saved, but we still don't know for sure. Her cancer has spread, but she is being kept confortable.

Isaiah has been very busy lately. Here he was playing outside, but he doesn't like to scrape his knees on the rocks . . .

You'll start to see a pattern here . . . I don't think he'd ever stop eating if we let him. We go to the doctor on Monday for his 15-month check up to get their opinion on cutting off his food supply after a certain point!?!

I had left him alone for a moment to help Madi get out of the tub . . . he found the snacks and helped himself!

He is getting around quite well with his walking toy. He can now maneuver it around and usually makes laps around the table. He also likes to make laps around the table holding on to the chairs as he goes. He has taken about 4 steps on his own (mostly for his father). He is starting to notice less and less that he is standing without holding on.

Aunt Mel's Visit

A few weeks ago now, my sister came for a visit. The girls had invited their friends (another set of sisters) for the night. Aunt Mel always brings fun and entertainment with her. She taught the girls what an "underdoggie" was on the swings -- why didn't I think of that so I could be cool!?!
