Recent Activities

This week we were invited to go to an Easter Walk-Thru at a local toy store. We were not informed that it was a toy store before we arrive -- it was a set up -- HOLD YOUR WALLET! The kids did enjoy it even if all they got was egg die that we picked up to do our annual egg dying at Nana & Pappy's. Stop by Kranyaks in Sharon, PA, if you are ever in the area. The tour is free, but you have to walk through a few toy aisles to get to the entrance. (Gottcha!)

Isaiah was in awe at everything there was to see.

DORA! Shh, don't tell anyone, but she's his favorite! Madi loved Diego, Zaya loves Dora. Go figure! You should hear him say "backpack". It's adorable.

Had to get a pose with Dora & Boots

Along the walk-thru, there were many scenes. I didn't take pictures of all of them.

"POOH!" (Actually more like "boo")

Helping his friend, Steven, get his paci back.

The girls hung out with their friends. I think this is the only pic I got of Makenna (in the black jacket). She isn't in to having her picture taken right now.

Told the girls I'd take their picture by their favorite scene -- Madi like this bunny!

Of course, this is the most important scene, and I'm so glad they had a representation of the true meaning of the Easter season. (I spared you the "Jesus" likenesses they had displayed - HA!)
Wednesday morning was beautiful (a little chilly but the sun was warm). We went out to play since the temp was going to drop almost 20 degrees by night fall!

Did I mention it was windy? I thought this was cute.

Isaiah wasn't crazy about coming in. He liked it outside. He got spoiled last week when the temps were in the 60s, and he was staying with Nana & Pappy. They played and played and played outside.

Hahah, that is a cunning trick on the part of the toy shop!

All the scenes look cute though. I have to say that I am a Winnie the Pooh person myself! :)
